Breaking DSS Release MD TrackNews
The Department of State Security Services DSS Bayelsa State Command has released the Chief Executive Officer and the managing Director of TrackNews Online Mr. Ogidi Ben Bara has been released from their custody after detaining him for 2 days without charging him to court or informing the his family, his lawyer and the general public reason behind his arrest.
It was gathered that, the DSS released him due to the pressure from NUJ, Civil Society groups and critical stakeholders from Nigeria and outside Nigeria also the lawyer to Mr. Ogidi Ben Bara petitioned DSS for invading the home of his client without invitation.
According to Mr. Ogidi Ben Bara he will address the press soon.
