Ekiti: David Mark, Makinde to co-chair PDP Reconciliation Committee
The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has appointed former Senate President David Mark and Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, as co-chairmen of the newly constituted Post-Primary Reconciliation Committee (PPRC) for Ekiti State.
PDP also appointed Senator Sanusi Daggash as the Secretary of the Ekiti PPRC.
Hon. Debo Ologunagba, National Publicity Secretary, who disclosed this in a statement on Monday explained that the committee is charged with the sole mandate of reconciling all its stakeholders in Ekiti State including all aspirants in the just-concluded governorship primary election in the state.
He added that, “This is in line with the commitment of the NWC to ensure an amicable resolution of all issues as our party prepares for a victorious governorship election in Ekiti State.”
Other members of the committee are as follows: former Senate President, Sen. Dr Adolphus Wabara; Sen. Mrs. Zainab Kure, Dr Prince Charles Akitoye, Sergeant Awuse, Col. Bala Mande and Chief Shuaibu Oyedokun.
The NWC urged all aspirants, leaders, critical stakeholders of Ekiti State to remain focused on the success of the PDP in the forthcoming governorship election in the state.
