Buhari Unaware Of Happenings In The Country – PDP Chieftain, Adebutu
A governorship aspirant on platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogun State, Hon. Ladi Adebutu, has stated that President Muhammadu Buhari has lost touch with happenings across the country.
Adebutu, a former member of the House of Representatives in Ikenne/Sagamu/Remo North Remo Federal Constituency, said the PDP is set to take over power.
Speaking to Daily Post, Adebutu asked Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State to prepare for his exit as his time is up.
According to the former lawmaker, Abiodun had failed to give Ogun people good governance, adding that he will be voted out in 2023.
Adebutu said, “What has President Buhari said that is consistent with reality? When President Buhari was interviewed about the indices that enumerate success of a good life, he deviated and was telling us about farming implements. President Buhari is not in touch with the reality of the situation. So, when he is not in touch with the reality of happenings in the nation, what can he tell us about the reality of Dapo Abiodun?
“Dapo Abiodun is not carrying out governance, he is just marking time. His time is up!”
The Iperu-born politician stated that many Nigerians have refused to exercise their franchise, stressing that politicians have also weaponized poverty.
“But, we shall work hard and we shall use our God-given strength to create hope in our people, and we believe that this would drive us to success,” he added.
