IYC President Commend Gov. Douye Over His Commitment For The Betterment of The Ijaw
The president of IYC with some National Executive members presented to the governor a Letter of credence to mark the outstanding and credible leadership style of his excellency Senator Douye Diri.
While presenting the letter with an award of Grand Ambassador of Ijaw Youth Council Worldwide, Comrade Peter Igbifa noted that the governors loving nature towards the Ijaw Nation is a pointer to his ebullient drive for an uplift of the face of Ijaw nation, he however called on other Ijaw born politicians to join the Bayelsa state governor to spread the love and pursue IJAW agenda beyond Party lines. We must as a people put a winnable plan in motion to achieve a prosperous Ijaw Nation he added.
While receiving the award the Miracle cum Valentine Governor, Senator Douye Diri thanked the president of the IYC for changing the narrative in the council. Commending the strategic gesture of the letter which he considered a huge encouragement to do more. Governor Diri said this goes to show that the only way for Ijaw nation is progress and that the face of the Ijaw nation is up again. He further encouraged the first Deacon President of council not to relent in putting God first in the activities of council.
This is the first letter of CREDENCE written by a renowned Youth organisation in the recent.
