I’ll improve infrastructure if elected Benue Gov-Ikya

Benue All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship aspirant, Hon.Terlumun Ikya, has assured he will fix infrastructural deficiencies if elected.

He spoke during a consultation trip to Tarka Local Government Area to seek the support of stalwarts to clinch the party’s ticket.

Unveiling his plans for Benue to the APC stakeholders in Wannune, Ikya noted that he would re-introduce technical education in primary and post primary schools to encourage skills acquisition, establish Industries, complete the tomatoes and
pepper factory at Wannune, a project conceived by Senator George Akume’s administration.

He also stated he would provide cold rooms at Wannune market and others in the State for the storage of perishables farm produce among several others.

While presenting the governorship aspirant to the APC faithful from Tarka, Mr.James Kave Ortese described him as a young, vibrant, intelligent, experienced and competent person that would take Benue out of her teething problems.

Ortese added that one good turn deserves another, pointing out that Jerchira supported Jemgbagh when George Akume sought to govern Benue and It was time for the Jemgbah people to reciprocate the gesture by by supporting Ikya to emerge Governor.

Other speakers, Including the Director- General of the Terlumun Ikya Campaign Organisation, Sir Godwin Jila, Mr. Benjamin Gwebe and Professor Bem Anjembe, solicited the support of Tarka people, assuring Ikya is the only candidate that would address the challenges of the State.

Responding, Tarka APC chairman Mr.Justin Azembe as well as Mr. Prince Shiaondo Tarka, Tyosoo Gandeorun and the Local Government APC Women leader, Grace Godo and Youth leader Sunday Juluku commended the governorship aspirant for consulting widely.

They said from his policy document, they were confident that he would uplift Benue and wished him well.
