Kwara State Command of the Nigeria Police Force has threatened to unleash hell on criminals in the state following the killings of two young boys in the Adifa and Center Igboro area of Ilorin this weekend.

The force in a press release made available to TrackNews on Saturday said it received with bitter heart the murder of two young men; Lukman and Kudus in the state capital.

The boys according to the command were killed by a gang led by one Habeeb Ganiyu ‘M’ of Agbarere area Ilorin. The suspects according to the report, stabbed the deceased several times in the chest.

It said that the victims were rushed to the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital by men of Oja Oba Police station after receiving a distress call. The victims, however, were confirmed dead upon arrival at the UITH by the doctors on duty.

The leader of the gang who reportedly carried out the attack was said to have also sustained a degree of injury.

While the immediate/remote cause(s) of the fatal attack is yet to be unravelled, the Commissioner of Police, Kwara State Police Command, CP Tuesday Assayomo psc, in the press release ordered a discreet investigation into the matter.

The CP, TrackNews understands has deployed strategies that would lead to the arrest of the fleeing attackers.

He vowed that anybody found to have contributed to the ugly process that led to the death of the victims would be arrested and made to bear the full weight of the law.

Assayomo in the communique also signed by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Okasanmi Ajayi (anipr), assures the people of the area in particular and Kwara State in general of their safety and security at all times.

The CP sternly advised lawbreakers to vacate Kwara State, as anyone arrested for committing any crime would be arrested and dealt with in accordance with the laws of the land.
