Tears As Osinachi Is Laid To Rest

Mohammed Oluwatimileyin Taoheed reports,
The renowned Nigerian gospel singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu, widely acclaimed for her hit song ‘Ekweme’ has been laid to rest in her hometown, Isochi Umunneochi in Abia State.
Recall that Osinachi had died since on April 8, 2022, and was said to have suffered domestic violence before her demise.
Prior to this, Osinachi was a chorister at the headquarters of the Dunamis International Gospel Center in Abuja.
Our earlier reports had it that Osinachi Nwachukwu’s mother, Caroline Madu (61) and sister, Favor asked the High Court sitting in Abuja to serve justice against Peter Nwachukwu following the death of the singer.
Madu was announced as the prosecution’s first witness on Monday 22nd 2022 in the alleged homicide and domestic violence-related case.
As given by Caroline, she came to explain what Peter did to her daughter, Osinachi, adding that the last time she saw her daughter was about a year ago.
She argued that Peter came and stole her daughter, claiming “he was an evangelist.”
