2023: Anambra Governor Says He Doesn’t Mock Peter Obi
Mohammed Oluwatimileyin Taoheed reports,
Mr. Charles Soludo, the Governor of Anambra State, has gave a denial to alleged mockery of the Peter Obi, the Presidential flag-bearer of the Labour party (LP) over his presidential candidacy.
Though not TrackNews Nigeria, some news blog had earlier had reported that the governor as quoting that the LP will labour in vain in the general election race of 2023.
Dismissing the claim, Christian Aburime, who is the media aide to the Governor, signed a statement that is credited to him which describes it false and unwanted.
TrackNews Nigeria learnt that Aburime said that the report was a misrepresentation of Governor Soludo’s speech during his session with some audience after his 100 days in office broadcast.
The spokesperson stressed that report could best be described as an attempt by some misguided elements to cause disaffection between Peter Obi and the party leadership and warned that people should desist from such.
