Yul Edochie, a popular actor, has chastised the Federal Government for failing to safeguard her countrymen from bandits.
Yul claimed in regard to the recent attack on the Kuje Medium Custodial Centre in Abuja, where the assailants helped the escape of 64 Boko Haram members, that bandits find it simple to rescue their colleagues from government facilities but not the government’s citizens from bandits’ lairs.
“We’re in a terrible situation right now.” “Bandits find it very easy to get their people out of government prisons, whereas the government finds it very difficult to get its people out of bandits,” he explained.
“If anything happens to anyone today, you’re on your own,” the actor said, bemoaning the destiny of locals who live in an insecure atmosphere. So sad.”
“May 2023 be a watershed moment for Nigeria,” Yul said, begging for God’s assistance. “May God help us.”
