Delta: Police discover a baby factory.

The Delta State Police Command has confirmed the discovery of a baby factory in Okpanam, Oshimili North Local Government Area of the state.
DSP Bright Edafe, the command’s spokesperson, said in an Asaba statement on Thursday that police from the State Investigation Department (SID) stormed the location and rescued three pregnant women.
“State Investigation Department operatives stormed a baby factory in Okpanam community, Oshimili North LGA, on July 10, 2022, at approximately 7.30 p.m.,” according to information.
“The agents rescued three pregnant women and two suspects, Promise Ejogu and Aruna Sulieman.”
“One of the suspects, Promise Ejogu, is the brother of the syndicate’s ring leader, according to police information.”
“The syndicate kept the women and engaged in sexual activities with them in order to get them pregnant,” Edafe explained.
According to a police spokesman, the suspects are currently in custody, and efforts are being made to apprehend the other members of the syndicate.
