We’ll agitate, propagate, and ensure Atiku becomes Nigeria’s next president in 2023 – Northern Youths

By Adeleye Kunle
Youths from the 19 Northern states have vowed to spread the leadership qualities of the Peoples Democratic Party’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, as well as agitate for and ensure his victory in the 2023 general election.
On Saturday, they made the pledge at the inauguration of 19 State Coordinators of the ‘Northern Youth Coalition For Atiku and Okowa 2023’ in Abuja.
At the event, Ambassador Suleiman Ibrahim Kuta, the group’s National Coordinator, stated that Atiku has the blueprint to redirect the economy, combat insecurity, and guide the country back to its glory days.
“The 2023 general election, unlike any other, is one in which we cannot afford any mistakes because our survival as a people and as a nation depends on it,” he explained.
“This is why, as Northern youths, we have taken it upon ourselves not only to identify the right candidate, but also to agitate, propagate, and ensure that the right candidate emerges as the next President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.”
“A decision was made after careful consideration of factors such as fear of God, personal charisma, intelligence, experience, patriotism, inclusiveness, and reputation.”
“Only one candidate possesses all of these characteristics, and that candidate is Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, GCFR” (Wazirin Adamawa).
“Our decision is motivated by the fact that the country is going through a difficult period, and there is an urgent need for a paradigm shift.” As young Nigerians, we want to see a Nigeria that is united, peaceful, and progressing.
“Atiku Abubakar is a man who can address insecurity and corruption, and he has the ability to redirect our economy.”
“He is known as the ‘Unifier’ because of his reputation for being unbiased and always fair in his judgment, which are ideal qualities for dealing with the current state of insecurity and disunity in our great country.”
Kuta promised that the organization would not back down from its pursuit of good governance laced with fairness and equity.
“We are committed, determined, and deliberate in our pursuit of good governance beginning in May 2023.” We have a vision and a mission to ensure that we contribute our fair share to the accomplishments of their Excellencies, Atiku and Okowa, as President and Vice President, respectively.
“Our representatives from the 19 states and the Federal Capital Territory are here to strategize and map out an action plan that will carry our message to every nook and cranny of our region,” he said.
The National Coordinator went on to say that the group’s membership includes both male and female genders in order to have a perfect representation and balance for inclusiveness and a wider reach.
