The terrorists who kidnapped the Kaduna-Abuja train passengers have released another video in which the victims are flogged.
On March 28, terrorists attacked the Abuja-Kaduna train, killing eight people and kidnapping 61 others.
After reportedly paying a N100 million ransom on April 7, Alwan Hassan, the Managing Director of the Bank of Agriculture, was the first to be released.
The terrorists released 11 people who had been held captive for 75 days following the incidents, according to Tukur Mamu, the negotiator and media consultant for Islamic cleric Sheikh Ahmad Gumi, and the release came “after a series of robust engagement with the terrorists and with the approval of the Federal Government.”
Seven of the victims were reportedly released on July 9 after paying a N800 million ransom.
The remaining 43 victims were told to pay N100 million to secure the release of their loved ones.
In the two-minute, 50-second video seen by our correspondent on Sunday, the male victims were crying as they were flogged by the terrorists.
