‘The Labour Party has a better structure for winning elections.’ – See details
By Adeleye Kunle
Mr Gyang Zi, the Labour Party (LP) Senatorial candidate for Plateau North, has stated that the party has a better structure than the other major parties in the country.
Zi, a legal practitioner, stated this to reporters in Jos yesterday.
The structure of the party, according to the senatorial candidate, is made up of young people and ordinary Nigerians who want the best for their country.
According to him, the party’s popularity is spreading like wildfire due to its distinct structure and the caliber of its presidential candidate and running mate.
Apart from their poor performance over the years, the other parties, according to Zi, have divided Nigeria along ethnic and religious lines.
He claimed that the other parties had failed to address the country’s problems.
“They failed to address critical issues such as insecurity and the country’s dire economic situation.”
“The LP Presidential Candidate, Mr Peter Obi, has demonstrated that if elected, he will be able to address the issues.”
“Nigerians, particularly the youth, are aware of his performance and credibility, which explains the party’s massive support,” he said.
The senatorial candidate stated that his experience as a lawyer will be invaluable in providing quality representation to his constituents.
Zi stated that his chances of winning the election were good due to the overwhelming support he and the LP received from individuals and groups.
