The EDO State Government has assured residents that the Governor Godwin Obaseki-led administration’s ongoing road construction projects in various communities across the state will be completed on time.
Pastor Kennedy Osifo, Chairman of the Edo State Oil and Gas Producing Areas Development Commission, EDSOGPADEC, made the assurance while briefing journalists in Benin City yesterday.
Governor Obaseki, according to Osifo, is investing in road construction as part of his plans to make Edo great again, as well as to ensure that more communities are opened to boost economic activity and ensure better livelihoods for Edo people.
The EDSOGPADEC chair stated, “Obaseki’s government is about the empowerment and betterment of the lives of Edo people, and is committed to projects and reforms to ensure a prosperous and progressive Edo, where all citizens can realize their fullest potential.”
“The government has taken deliberate steps to ensure the completion of all road projects in the state in accordance with the state governor’s directive.”
“We are pursuing a comprehensive road infrastructure program throughout Edo to ensure better livelihoods for our people, and we have begun massive road construction projects in various communities.”
