Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has stated that residents of the state have fully recovered from the trauma caused by the 2020 EndSARS protest.

Sanwo-Olu made this claim while speaking on a programme.

Meanwhile, the governor stated that the government is currently developing an infrastructure recovery plan for the benefit of state residents.

“Infrastructure is not something that can be fixed in a single day.” As a result, infrastructure renewal remains part of an ongoing budgetary allocation. Consider the major ports in Lagos.

“We are building a 15-story structure that will house approximately 60 courts at the same time.” That is the type of imposing structure we are restoring to Igbosere High Court.

“This will take time, but I believe that in terms of psychology, my citizens and I are out of it.”

“We’ve learned our lessons, and we understand what we’ve learned.” “It was a byproduct of something we had nothing to do with,” he explained.

People have become more discerning in the last two years, according to Sanwo-Olu, who noted that time heals.

“People can see the reality of a one-day perception, a two-year perception, and a one-year perception,” he said.

“We don’t take anyone for granted, and we don’t leave anything to chance.”

“Conversations are taking place, and what they want is not what has happened, but what this government is doing to improve the lot of all of us.”

“It’s about what opportunity this guy is giving to us as young people and giving us a space for us to flourish and get to the highest level of whatever profession we’ve found ourselves in,” he explained.
