Family Announces Burial Plans For Nigerian Actress, Ada Ameh

Ada Ameh died on Sunday, July 17, 2022. Two years earlier, the actress lost her only child, Aladi Godsgift.

The remains of the late veteran Nollywood actress, Ada Ameh are set to be laid to rest as her family has announced the burial dates.

Giving an update on her burial arrangements, Abahi Ameh, the younger sister of the deceased who spoke on behalf of the family revealed that August 25th and 26th had been slated for her burial.

Her obituary poster also notes that a novelty match will be played in her honour at Nathaniel Idowu Pitch in Lagos on Friday, August 19, 2022.

A candlelight procession which is expected to be graced by actors and loved ones is scheduled to hold on the same day at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere, Lagos.

On Thursday, August 25, there will be a candlelight service at Saint Mary’s Primary School, Ogobia in Benue State. The funeral service and interment will follow at her father’s compound in the Otukpo Local Government Area of Benue State.

Though a native of Idoma in Benue State, Ada Ameh was born and raised in Lagos. Born on May 15, 1974, in Ajegunle, Lagos, Ada Ameh spent more than two decades in the Nigerian movie industry.

She was most notable for her character as Anita in the 1996 movie titled ‘Domitilla’ and as Emu Johnson in the award-winning Nigerian television series, ‘The Johnsons’.
