According to the Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra, the National Assembly’s handling of the planned impeachment of the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd), is disgraceful.

According to MASSOB, the Senate in particular shouldn’t have been kept in the dark regarding the frequent murder of numerous Nigerians throughout the country’s various areas.

In a phone chat with our correspondent on Friday, Sunday Okereafor, the group’s national director of information, made this statement.

Okereafor asserted that what had happened in Liberia, Serbia, and Yugoslavia was analogous to what was occurring in Nigeria, and he added that the leaders of those nations ought to be held accountable for failing to protect the lives of their residents.

He proclaimed, “The killings in our country must be held accountable, including by the Senate. The Senate building is really beautiful, yet it has no foundation.

It will eventually crumble. The Senate is present, yet people are being killed. Why? You’ll hear “We will impeach Buhari” twice more tomorrow, followed by “We will impeach Buhari.”

“Once they are paid, they will eventually quit talking. Senators ought to be ashamed of themselves. They should be embarrassed that they have no influence given that they are the nation’s bulwark of democracy.

He asserted that the Buhari administration was merely paying lip service to the Academic Staff Union of Universities’ requests in light of the fact that several well-known politicians, including senators, sent their children to study abroad.

According to Okereafor, the bulk of those who identify as elites are present, and ASUU has been on strike for more than five months. Even the teachers are unable to receive government funding. However, they abandon their studies and watch as their children suffer while sending their children to France, Germany, America, and Israel. While Nigeria’s refineries are in disrepair, the majority of them are establishing refineries abroad.

Not even in the villages that produce oil are there any highways. Tell me, Nigeria’s Senate: Shouldn’t the National Assembly’s upper house be the one to create legislation and make national policy decisions?

“The Biafra Independent Movement and MASSOB are guessing on who they are deceiving. Today or tomorrow, the president will be impeached. They won’t contact you until they get your money. It is unfortunate!

He claimed that Nigerians had chosen them. But how do they contribute to people’s protection? How do they exist when the level of unease rises daily?

“The Senate needs to face legal action for allowing the killings to occur all around the country. Despite their claims that Buhari should be removed from office immediately, they will remain silent when paid money. To whom are they lying? BIM and MASSOB have a query.
