2023: “Stop Considering Religion And Tribe” – Peter Obi
Mohammed Oluwatimileyin Taoheed reports,
Peter Obi, the Labour Party presidential flag-bearer, has told Nigerians to avoid the politics of religion and tribalism in the forthcoming 2023 elections.
The former Anambra State Governor stated that the present state of things in the country calls for all and sundry to come together and shun tribe and religion.
He wrote this on his verified Twitter handle, asking the Nigerian electorate to vote candidates whose portfolios show that they can get the job done.
In his words: “The high cost of living, high level of insecurity and every other challenge is affecting all Nigerians equally, irrespective of tribe and religion.
“We must then unite as one and rally behind capable leaders with verifiable track records of success for the sake of our collective interest.”
Track News Nigeria recalls that Peter Obi is now one of the trending political lords ahead the anticipated general election.
