Apostle Suleman congratulates Kenyan Deputy President, William Ruto over his victory at the just-concluded presidential election
Adeleye Kunle Reports
Apostle Johnson Suleman, the founder of Omega Fire Ministry, has congratulated Kenyan Deputy President William Ruto on his victory in the recently concluded presidential election, TrackNews reports.
The TrackNews previously reported that Ruto had been declared the winner of the country’s closely contested presidential election on Monday.
According to the Chairman of the country’s Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission, Wafula Chebukati, Ruto received nearly 7.18 million votes (50.49 percent) in the August 9 election, compared to 6.94 million (48.85 percent) for his rival Raila Odinga.
Suleman, who congratulated Kenyans on Ruto’s victory, responded by saying the development is good news for the church of Jesus.
The popular clergyman claimed victory through the power of God in a post on his social media accounts.
“My brother,” he wrote. It was done by God. Congratulations on your election as Kenya’s new president, William Samoei Ruto.
“This is good news for the Jesus Church.” Congratulations to everyone in Kenya! I hope to see you all at the inauguration. All glory to God.
