Abia: Ikpeazu embarks on project inspection, commissioning
Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State, is continuing his statewide project inspection and commissioning programme tagged ”Kinetic Abia Tours”.
This was disclosed in a release signed by the State Commissioner for Information, Chief John Okiyi Kalu and made available to DAILY POST in Umuahia, on Tuesday.
Governor Ikpeazu, however, invited members of the State Executive Council, members of Abia State House of Assembly, Abia Representatives in the National Assembly, Executive Chairmen of 17 LGAs, members of Traditional Council, Christian Association of Nigeria( CAN), Civil Society Organizations (CSO), members of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), leaders of business community in Aba and Umuahia and members of the press.
In the release, the Abia State Government outlined the project schedules as follows: “Tuesday, 23rd March, 2021

“Obohia Road, Aba South LGA
“Ngwa Road, Aba South LGA
“Omuma Road, Aba South LGA
“Ohanku Road, Aba South LGA

“Aba-Owerri Road, Aba North/Osisioma LGAs

Meanwhile, the Abia State House of Assembly, during its plenary session received a letter sent by Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, requesting that the Speaker and members accompany him on the statewide inspection tour of ongoing projects.
The Speaker, after informing the House of the Governor’s letter, pleaded with the honourable members to make themselves available so as to accompany the State Chief Executive on the tour.
