Abia police conclude investigation into alleged m*rder of 26-year-old woman by Chinese national
The Abia State Police Command has concluded an investigation into the alleged m*rder of a 26-year-old woman, Vivian Ocheze Ogbonna allegedly by her Chinese employer after she allegedly refused his sexual advances.
LIB reported that the suspect, Mr. Ge Zhen, who is the Operations Supervisor of Inner Galaxy, a steel manufacturing company in Ukwa West Local Government Area of the state, was alleged to have pushed the victim from a crane, resulting in her d£ath.
The spokesperson of the command, ASP Maureen Chinaka, who confirmed the latest development in a statement on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, said the case has been handed over to the office of the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice for prosecution in court.
“Abia State Police Headquarters received a report on 21/05/2024 of the alleged m*rder of Miss Vivian Ocheze Ogbonna ‘Female’ 26 years old of Umuahala Obuzor Asa in Ukwa West LGA Abia State, by the Operation Supervisor Mr. Ge Zhen ‘male’ 54 years of Inner Galaxy Steel Company, located at Obuzor Asa, Ukwa West LGA Abia state,” the statement read.
“Investigation has been concluded by the command and the matter was handed over to the office of the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice Abia State on 25/06/2024 For prosecution in court.”
