It is with every sense of gratitude to God and special appreciation to His Excellency Senator Douye Diri that I have taken out time to pen drive this brief to my aesthetic Boss and godfather Rt. Hon. Tonye Emmanuel Isenah Phd, having been considered fit and Worthy to be appointed as the General Manager Bayelsa State Housing and Property Development Authority.

The news of your appointment came as a relief and at the same time a confirmation that His Excellency Senator Douye Diri is driven by qualification, experience and hard work.

Congratulations also to all staff of the Bayelsa State Housing and Property Management Authority in particular and to all civil servants in general, light has indeed come to stay for Rt. Hon. Tonye Emmanuel Isenah Phd is luminated , vibrant, exposed, experienced, accessible, visionary, energetic, transparent, accountable, down-to-earth, intelligent, scholarly, non poikilothermic towards sensitive issues and above all politically clairvoyant with a unique touch of the fear of God. It is just a matter of a short period of time that the Bayelsa State Housing and Property Management Authority begin to see major and rapid transformation that will not go the way of the earth anytime soon.

It is not a pernicious rumour, neither is it with emotions or overactive insinuations when writers and theorists posit always that Rt. Hon. Tonye Emmanuel Isenah Phd is a gift to the Glory Of all Lands; the facts are there to ascertain the non hyperbolic adjectives used in describing this noble gentleman of valor, someone liken to the Greek Proconsul, whose capacity remains almost untapped and whose future in politics is dressed in fine gold. In the language of some of the soccer youths, Rt. Hon. Isenah is a sure odd for assignment delivery.

Suffice me to say, even if the Rt. Hon. Was appointed as Director ” Gutter Cleaning”, he would transform that sector to a gold mine and the gutters in the state Metropolis would be as clean as some reputable hotel apartments; he just has a gift of turning nothing to something and changing the state of things from their ill present to their future glory, not everyone has the well without to fit in his shoes. All he needs is just an assignment to serve the people, no matter how big or small, he has the requisite capacity for any perceived assignment in the public space, he is such a peculiar and unique entity. My political prowess and overall experience in the public space can’t be complete in tale without mentioning the impacts of this noble personage. His good will in office as the Honorable Member representing Kolokuma Opokuma Constituency 1 was an open door to all who knows him. He was seen clearly overlapping political boundaries and spreading his tentacles beyond his jurisdiction in his efforts to ameliorating the plights of everyone around him, be it an acquaintance or otherwise.

My humble submission and plea to the housing and Property Management Authority Boss is for him to look with keen interest in the plights of civil servants, mostly the junior civil servants who most often retire to rented apartments and most times can’t afford to build and complete a decent apartment before they go the way of the earth. So therefore, to the Boss Sir, an opportunity once again has come for you to further prove your love for Bayelsa and Bayelsans, for you to impart lives and transform the existing narrative that has lingered already for too long. Please Sir, I implore you to put in place plans and procedures that would fast track the possibility and open the windows for civil servants to be able to retire to their individual and permanent homes. This is not to say the GM should provide houses to civil servants but I know the GM himself understands well his primary assignment and knows which corridors to open that would help make it a possibility for every civil servant to own a house or an apartment on retirement.

Finally, let me thank the Almighty God who has made all this possible. Let me also use this singular medium to elate all Bayelsans, to keep hopes alive and bank on Rt. Hon. Isenah in his new assignment, he will definitely deliver beyond expectations, he will never break even, the intellectual autarchy is sufficient enough for the task ahead. All I pray is for the good Lord to keep guiding the steps of His Excellency Senator Douye Diri as well as continually empower the new GM in all ramifications.
