“Adams Oshiomole Might Become Our Senate President If There Was No Ranking Rule” – Nyesom Wike
In the early hours of today, the former governor of Rivers state, Ezenwo Nyesom Wike was granted an interview where he spoke about the forthcoming leadership of the 10th Nigerian senate.
Speaking further, former governor Ezenwo Nyesom Wike said, “some people are already trying to make the administration of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu fail. This was the same thing that happened under Buhari’s first term when Bukola Saraki was the senate president. There was no good relationship between the senate and the government in power. That is why I think Godswill Akpabio should be the next senate president. The seat should be zoned to the south.”
Lastly, Ezenwo Nyesom Wike said, “if Godswill Akpabio becomes the next senate president, it shows that there is hope for a better Nigeria because it will mean that everyone is carried along. People will begin to understand that it is not a religious thing. As a matter of fact, we are seeing that the president is in support of Godswill Akpabio so it signals something good. Akpabio is also the most senior senator in the south south.”
