Adamu Talks About Wooing Wike Into APC In 2023

Ibekimi Oriamaja Reports.
Abdullahi Adamu, National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has stated that he is unaware of any plans to court Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike.
In an interview with Arise News on Sunday, Adamu was responding to the visit of three APC governors to Wike in Port Harcourt a week ago.
Remember Tracknews report that Ekiti State Governor Kayode Fayemi led a delegation to meet with Wike that included Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Ondo State Governor Rotimi Akeredolu.
The APC Governors, according to Tracknews , used the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) crisis to meet with Wike and persuade him to join the ruling party.
Adamu stated that he was not informed of Wike’s visit or the outcome of the meeting.
“Despite reading the story in the national dailies, neither the governors you mentioned nor the mission’s outcome were discussed with me.”
“As a result, I am unable to comment,” he explained.
