Adeleke Won Through Lies And Propaganda In Osun – Oyetola’s Aide

Ibekimi Oriamaja Reports.
Ismail Omipidan, Chief Press Secretary to Osun State Governor Gboyega Oyetola, claimed on Tuesday that Ademola Adeleke, the Peoples Democratic Party’s governorship candidate, won the 16th July 2022 election through lies and propaganda.
Omipidan accused the governor-elect of deceiving civil servants in the state about pensions and unpaid salaries.
He also claimed that electorates in Owode-Ede were still voting on Saturday at around 9 p.m., despite the fact that voting was supposed to end at 1 p.m.
In response to Governor Oyetola’s admission of defeat, he stated that his principal is still studying the election results and will make his decision when the time comes.
On Tuesday, Omipidan made the remarks on a radio current affairs program in Osogbo.
The governor’s aide stated during the governorship election, “They lied to the civil servants about issues relating to pensions and unpaid salaries.”
“We were also informed that people were still voting in some polling units in Owode-Ede until around 9 p.m. on Saturday.”
“We have video evidence of this.”
Remember that Adeleke defeated the incumbent governor, Oyetola, with 403,371 votes to 375,027 votes for the APC candidate.
Adeleke was victorious in 17 of the 30 local government areas, while Oyetola was victorious in the remaining 13.
