Adeyanju blasts Atiku and the PDP in Osun election: “You are unserious” – See shocking details
By Adeleye Kunle
Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, has been described as unserious ahead of the governorship election in Osun State, TrackNews reports.
The Osun State governorship election was scheduled for July 16 by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
While the election is only a few days away, Atiku is thought to be in Dubai, with no reports of him returning to the country to campaign for the PDP candidate in Osun State.
Shortly after the PDP’s presidential primary election, the former Vice President left Nigeria for Dubai.
Deji Adeyanju, a rights activist, reacted by chastising Atiku for his absence ahead of the governorship election.
The Abuja-based lawyer described the PDP as the most ineffective opposition party in a tweet.
“Atiku is still abroad, and the Osun election is in 5 days,” he tweeted. Very unprofessional presidential candidate. A useless party is in power, and Nigeria is currently besieged by the most useless opposition political parties.”
Meanwhile, the All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential candidate Bola Tinubu, and other party leaders are expected to storm the state.
Tinubu and other APC leaders will travel to the state for the party’s grand finale campaign.
