Adeyanju: Obasanjo is rallying support for Obi, but he will fall short.
Ibekimi Oriamaja Reports
Deji Adeyanju, an activist, claimed to have evidence indicating that former president Olusegun Obasanjo is backing Peter Obi, a candidate for the Labour Party, to succeed him as president of Nigeria in 2023.
Adeyanju predicted that Obi will finish in a distant third place in the presidential race.
He claimed that Obasanjo was the one urging people all over the world to vote for Obi.
According to the Independent National Electoral Commission’s schedule, Obi’s presidential campaign will begin next week, and he said the Balogun Owu has started raising money for it (INEC).
Despite Obasanjo’s backing, Adeyanju insisted that Obi would not win the election and issued a wager to anyone who had any doubts.
“Those who know me are aware that I have information. Obi has the full support of OBJ, as I already stated.
“Baba has been the one calling people all over the place for Obi; from PDP governors to international connections, and even people that can assist fund the campaign, yet Obi will still come distant third,” he said in a post.
