Akpabio Continues to Harass My Wife Despite Our Accord – Natasha Akpoti’s Husband

According to TrackNews Online Emmanuel Oritsejolomi Uduaghan, husband of Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, has alleged that Senate President Godswill Akpabio continues to harass his wife despite a prior understanding between them.
His statement follows Akpoti-Uduaghan’s recent claims during an Arise TV interview, where she accused Akpabio of making inappropriate advances toward her at his office and residence in Akwa Ibom.
The controversy comes amid tensions between the two senators, who previously clashed in the National Assembly over seating arrangements.
In a statement on Saturday, Uduaghan, who holds the title of Alema of Warri Kingdom, disclosed that his wife had informed him of her troubling encounters with Akpabio.
“I personally met with the Senate President and respectfully urged him to accord my wife the dignity she deserves, while also preserving the friendship we share. We reached a mutual understanding and agreed to handle the matter amicably,” Uduaghan stated.
Despite this agreement, he expressed disappointment that the alleged harassment persisted.
“My wife continues to voice her concerns about the distressing experiences she has faced with the Senate President. I have complete trust in her loyalty and remain devoted to our marriage, which is built on love, mutual respect, and unwavering commitment,” he added.
Uduaghan urged the Senate and Akpabio to show respect to his wife while legal and investigative processes address the situation.
“I now respectfully call on the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and its President to treat my wife with the dignity she rightfully deserves as the appropriate authorities examine the matter.”
As of the time of this report, Akpabio has not responded to the allegations.
