Alleged Defamation: NYF Backs Ned Nwoko asks police to prosecute aphrodisiac merchant, Jaruma
Over the weeks there has been a concerted effort to distort and rewrite history as well as soil the image of one of Nigeria’s foremost industrialist Prince Ned Nwoko.
In a statement made available to newsmen the national leader of Nigeria Youth Forum Mr. Frank Joshua said, they are backing the former Nigerian lawmaker, Ned Nwoko over Jaruma, a famous sex therapist who sells an aphrodisiac called kayanmata, prosecuted for allegedly defaming and libeling Ned Nwoko and his family through peddling false allegations, claims, and hate speech.
Mr. Frank Joshua stated that, we are aware of Jaruma antics of peddling false news. As a group we have also met with Ned Nwoko the international lawyer, and husband of famous Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels, said his marriage to his Moroccan wife, which produced three children, ended due to “irreconcilable differences rooted in indecent conduct on the latter’s part which started while she was on holiday in London.”
We are in total support of Nwoko for requesting the Police to investigate Jaruma’s alleged selling of unlicensed and unauthorised love portion to unsuspecting members of the public and her claim that her portion is responsible for the collapse of his marriage to Ms Charani.
Mr. Frank Joshua further stated that they have contacted other youths groups and civil society organisation to occupy the streets of Abuja to make sure Jaruma is duly prosecuted.
