APC Announces Dr. Mary Alile as New National Women Leader, Replaces Dr. Betta Edu

The ruling All Progressives Congress APC has announced Dr. Mary Alile Idele, popularly called CAPACITY, as the new National Women Leader of the Party.
Rising from the weekly meeting of the Party, the National Secretary of APC, Senator Ajibola Basiru, told newsmen that the National Working Committee has ratified the names sent to it by States and regions some vacant positions in the Party were zoned to.
Senator Ajibola explained that the vacancies occurred following the Ministerial nomination of two Members of the Committee, resignation of three others and the demise of one.
Dr. Mary Alile, an indigene of Edo State (South-South) Geopolitical Zone of the Country, will now replace Dr. Betta Edu, the newly appointed Minister for Poverty Alleviation who was serving as the Party’s National Women Leader before her Ministerial Nomination.
Following the announcement of Dr. Mary Alile as the new National Women Leader of the APC, congratulatory messages has continue to flock in from various angles, describing her appointment as well deserved.
Among others, Dr. Mary Alile (CAPACITY), a dogged chieftain of the APC is the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of an International Non-Governmental Organization, Sister-To-Sister Worldwide.
Others appointed include: Ali Bukar Dalori – Deputy National Chairman (North), Hon. Garba Datti Muhammadu – National Vice Chairman (North West), Former Nasarawa State Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice – Prof. Abdul Karim Abubakar Kana as National Legal Adviser, Hon. Donates Nwankpa – National Welfare Secretary and Hon. Duro Meseko – Deputy National Publicity Secretary.
The National Secretary also announced Ikani Shuaibu Okolo as the Zonal Organising Secretary (North Central), adding that the elected officers will be inaugurated next week.
