By Adeleye Kunle
Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has urged Nigerians not to abandon the party.
Tinubu stated that while Nigerians are opposed to a failed government, they should not abandon the APC.
He spoke at the funeral of Grace Akeredolu, the mother of Ondo State Governor Rotimi Akeredolu, in the state’s Owo area.
He admitted that the government has flaws and shortcomings, but Nigerians should not abandon the party.
“Thank God we are alive; there may be flaws and inadequacies in our expectations.” Nobody wants to fail.
“You cannot abandon us. We will improve. “We will contribute to any improvements you desire,” Tinubu stated.
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo represented President Muhammadu Buhari.
Governors of Ogun, Prince Dapo Abiodun; Lagos, Babajide Sanwo-Olu; Osun, Gboyega Oyetola; and Oyo, Engr Seyi Makinde, represented by his wife, Olufunke, were also in attendance.
