APC warn Nigerians to stop politicizing security issues and instead pray for Buhari.

By Ibekimi Oriamaja
According to the All Progressives Congress, Nigerians have been urged not to politicize the country’s security issues (APC).
This came as it urged Nigerians to pray for President Muhammadu Buhari instead.
The APC made the submission in a statement issued on Saturday by its National Publicity Secretary, Barr Felix Morka, in which the ruling party conveyed to Nigerians its Sallah message.
In the statement, Morka emphasized that Buhari and the government are doing everything possible to reduce insecurity in Nigeria and urged Nigerians to pray for them.
It went on to say that the interests of the country must come first, and Nigerians must not succumb to those who seek to divide the country through terror and hatred.
“We urge Nigerians to remain supportive of and pray for President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration as it addresses our country’s security challenges,” the party said. “We also reject insensitive and unpatriotic efforts by some partisans to politicize security breaches committed by enemies of our country.”
“We urge all Muslims to pray for the country’s long-term peace, security, and prosperity on this Eid-El-Kabir, as the APC-led government continues to prioritize the well-being and safety of all Nigerians.
According to the statement, “On this Eid-El-Kabir, we urge all Nigerians to prioritize national interests in all dealings.” “We must not give in to those who seek to divide us through terror and hatred.”
