APC will win all elective positions in Zamfara – Yari

Former Zamfara Governor Alhaji Abdul’Aziz Yari has stated that the All Progressives Congress (APC) will win all elective positions in the state in the 2023 General Elections.
Malam Yusuf Idris, the State APC publicity Secretary, made Yari’s remark in a statement issued in Gusau on Friday.
Yari made the remarks in Talata Mafara, Talata Mafara Local Government Area, after meeting with stakeholders from Bakura, Maradun, and Talata Mafara LGAs.
The former governor stated that the APC’s stability in the state was unbreakable.
“Although there have been some challenges that have threatened the party’s corporate existence in the past, that is normal in politics.”
“Such a divisive path will not be pursued by the party in the future because the leaders have put their heads together and brought the party to order.”
“With the recent reconciliation drive in the party that resulted in the coming together of the party leaders,” Yari said, “Zamfara is focusing on promoting the lives of citizens in the state.”
He stated that the APC-led administration is focusing on improving the lives of communities by providing basic amenities such as water, electricity, access roads, healthcare, and basic education, among other things.
“The APC-led administration of Gov. Bello Matawalle has reduced thuggery by engaging youth in positive ventures to improve their livelihoods.”
“The APC is now heavily mobilized to ensure that all candidates for various elective positions, from president to councillors, are voted for and sworn in,” Yari added.
The former governor urged the people of the state, particularly APC members, to follow the law, embrace peace, and maintain high standards of discipline.
He promised that Zamfara would give the presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, and his running mate, Sen. Kashim Shettima, the most votes.
Alhaji Tukur Danfulani, the party’s state chairman, praised the former governor’s efforts in the state and promised that members of the party would work hard to win the state’s elections.
Alhaji Lawal Liman, a former Chairman of the APC in the state, thanked all stakeholders for remaining committed to the party’s progress.
Liman urged them to continue their support for the party’s success in the state.
