APGA Expresses Condolences to Speaker Soludo Over the Death of a Lawmaker
Ibekimi Oriamaja Reports
The sudden death of the Majority Leader, Hon. Nnamdi Okafor, in distant South Africa has been mourned by the Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Uche Okafor, the Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, and all of the House’s members, according to Chief Victor Ike Oye, National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).
In a statement released by the party’s national chairman, Oye urged all APGA members to ardently pray for the Anambra State House of Assembly, pleading with God for mercy to stop the two murders of assembly members that had occurred within the past three months. He asked God for forgiveness for the House.
In addition, as the election in 2023 approaches, he advised all party members to begin a three-day fast and to pray for the party’s success.
The dangerous times we are living in necessitate daily prayer, introspection, and repentance. Soon, I see God doing something brand-new in the House,” stated Oye.
He took the chance to ask God to grant the deceased’s soul eternal rest in Heaven.
