Appointment from Tinubu is building the country for Nigerians not building it for APC- Fayose
Former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose has explained why he sees nothing wrong in members of opposition political parties working in the government of the ruling party. Fayose said appointment from the President of a ruling party is building the country for Nigerians and not for his party.
Speaking on Central TV, the former Governor of Ekiti State said, “Asiwaju by himself cannot form government alone that’s why you see the G-5 there, you see Kwankwaso, you see the former CBN Governor. Every hands must be on deck. It’s Nigeria’s business.
Somebody was telling me if they give Wike appointment, appointment is different from party. Appointment from Tinubu is building the country for Nigerians not building it for APC. In the days of Abacha, Ebenezer Babatope, Bola Ige and a number of them joined hands, yes a lot of people didn’t like it, to salvage the country.
In our place, they said if you leave your clothes for the mad man, he will wear it and tear it. For Tinubu to extend his hands to people to come and join his government, to make it better for Nigerians, I think it’s in the best interest of Nigeria and Nigerians.”
