Mikel Arteta has given latest update on Gabriel Martinelli who went off injured in Arsenal’s league game at Sheffield United.

Martinelli contributed to Arsenal’s 6-0 victory at Bramall Lane by scoring the game’s third goal as Arsenal maintained their place in the Premier League title race.

The 22-year-old scored his eighth goal of the season in all competitions by finding the net in the 15th minute, but was later subbed off amid concerns over his fitness.

He emerged for the second half before being withdrawn as he limped towards the touchline with the help of the visitors’ medical staff.
