Asanakpo commends ex-chairman of Sanitation John Appah he was honoured by the staff.

Agency Report
The Chairman of Bayelsa State Volunteers, Hon Oyinkuro Lucky Asanakpo has commended Mr. John Appah, the pioneer Chairman of Bayelsa State Environmental Sanitation Agency, on the occasion of his retirement from the civil service at the ripe age of 60.
According to the Chairman, we are greatly honoured to have worked in close contact with the ex-chairman as his staff and that explains why we both serving and ex-staff of the agency have all gathered to give our boss and mentor a befitting honour as he bows out of service today.
It is said that one good turn deserves another, our former boss has been very good to us, as a mentor therefore we did not hesitate to honour him at this critical time when he is leaving the service on a glorious note, Asanakpo noted.
Asanakpo who spoke at the back ground of the festivities and party organised by the associates of the former chairman today at Nigerian Union of Journalist banquet hall, said, Mr. Appah set a good example for them as an astute administrator while managing the affairs of the agency. He is worthy of emulation.
It is our sincere prayer that the Almighty God will continue to bless him and his family all the days of his life and God should honour him as he extended the hand of fellowship to all staff while in service. It is on record that he helped to employ very many of us into the service at a time we never knew we will grow to this extent.
Mr. John Appah is a worthy example of living legend. It is my prayer that God will grant him good health, long life and prosperity all the days of his life.
The event in attendance, Chief Collins Cocodia, Special Adviser on Political Matters to the Government of Bayelsa State, Prof. Felix Omemu, Secretary of the South-South PDP and among others.
