ASANAKPO CONGRATULATES EMBELEAKPO ALALE

TRACKING>>Chairman, Bayelsa State Volunteers, Hon. Lucky Oyinkuro Asanakpo has congratulated Hon. Embeleakpo Prosper Alale on his emergence as the choice candidate for the Sagbama Local Government Council chairmanship election.

Hon. Asanakpo said, the party has made its decision, and every one of us will abide by that decision because the party is supreme at all times. We are all accountable to the party.

Hon. Asanakpo in a congratulatory message sent to the candidate stated that Hon. Embeleakpo’s emergence is a divine choice given to the fact he has over the years served the good people of the council area in various capacities before now.

The chairman noted that he has no iota of doubt in his mind that the candidate will bring his wealth of expetience to bear on onerous task ahead of him after his election to office.

He has therefore admonished all other members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) family who had earler shown interest to close ranks with the candidate for the success of the party at the general election slated for August.

He went further to say that politicians especially the younger generation must learn to play the game without bitterness, and allow the will of God to play out at all times.

Hon. Embeleakpo, he said, deserve the assistance and support of all well meaning citizens of the council area and the party irrespective of their parochial interests and cleavages.

The Chairman has also advised the candidate to carry along all other persons in the scheme of things in the larger interest of our great party.

We must learn to put aside all other sentiments and work together as a family for the progress of the party, he observed.

Hon. Asanakpo has equally commended the visionary leadership qualities of His Excellency, Gov. Henry Seriake Dickson, the rock of Ijaw nation, the Ofurumapepe for the choice of Hon. Embeleakpo, a tested grassroots politician to fly the flag of PDP in the forthcoming council election.

May I use this special opportunity to assure the Governor that he has made the right choice and we shall work assidously for the success of the party because our leader has spoken, and we shall queue behind the candidate”, he asserted.
