ASARI DOKUBO OFFICIATES THE FIRST MEDIAN MEETING OF THE EDI COMPOUND AT BUGUMA

The Edi Polo (Edi’Compound) held its first Meeting of the Year at Buguma Asari Toru Local Government Area of Rivers State.

The Edi Polo is one of the largest compounds in Kalabari Kingdom which is headed by the Alabo Edi’Abali of Kalabari Kingdom, Alhaji Mujahid Dokubo-Asari the Inabio-Buari II cum the paramount head of the Edi group (Polo’Dabo).

The key highlights of the meeting are to unite all sons and daughters of the descendants of Da Edi’Abali both home and diaspora deliberate the progress and the way forward of the compound and beyond.

While expressing satisfaction with the quorum of the meeting, The Edi’Abali Mujahid Asari Dokubo emphasized the need for every son and daughter to embrace the love for the betterment of the Edi group of house, pledge to pilot the affair of the compound to enviable heights. He also pledges to give out scholarships to children into public secondary schools and universities”

In his words “It gives me joy to be the head of Edi the group of houses, and I will, in my capacity by God’s grace carry out the affairs of the compound and the people living amongst us”.

“All that we need is love to move the compound forward, we will not accept any cult act. By the grace of God I’ll be giving out scholarships to children into Public Secondary Schools and Universities All I need is your prayers he added
