Atiku is younger, fittest and more experienced than Tinubu and others – Melaye
Ibekimi Oriamaja Reports
Senator Dino Melaye, a former Kogi Central lawmaker, has stated that Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, is the healthiest, fittest, and most experienced of all 2023 presidential candidates.
Melaye made the remarks on Saturday evening in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital, during Atiku’s public declaration and induction into the Diamond Ladies in Politics.
He contended that comparing Atiku to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is unjustified.
Melaye insisted that Atiku’s supporters are genuine and organic, noting that he is a billionaire with a business.
The PDP chieftain, on the other hand, stated that Atiku and Tinubu remained the frontrunners for the presidency in 2023.
“I am pleased that everyone here is singing one son’s song,” he said, referring to Atiku for President. Many people vote on social media already, but INEC does not have a social media voting center.
“Atiku supporters are genuine and one-of-a-kind. They are noticeable and made of PVC. This election features two crucial candidates. Atiku Abubakar, Wazirin Adamawa, and Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the APC
“Unfortunately, they are both extremely wealthy, but there is a distinction. Tinubu is a billionaire without a business, whereas Atiku is a billionaire with one. Atiku is a billionaire with a sense of enterprise because he has a background in agriculture, education, oil and gas, media, manufacturing, and banking.
“Tinubu, on the other hand, has money but no initiative.” Atiku Abubakar has fulfilled the federal government’s constitutional requirement that anyone running for President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria be in good physical and mental health. I disagree with the other person (Tinubu).
“At 75, what new would Atiku be looking for other than to lay the groundwork for the next generation to have their own life?” So this capable Nigerian, who is mobile and administratively astute, is on his way to changing the story.
Atiku made Peter Obi famous.
Melaye claimed that when Atiku chose Peter Obi as his running mate in the 2019 presidential election, he gave the Labour Party’s (LP) presidential candidate a national appeal.
He, however, dismissed claims that Obi and the presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Rabiu Kwankwaso, would surprise voters in the presidential election.
“Obi is a fantastic Nigerian, but the rest of the country was unaware of him until Atiku identified him.” Atiku works as a talent scout. Atiku discovered everyone who was a reformer in this country between 1999 and today.
“Obi was discovered by Atiku before the keyboard warriors.” Regrettably, elections will not take place on social media. It will take place at polling places. And those who would vote are present. Operation votes must now be counted as a result.
“He is the only presidential candidate who has run a presidential campaign before.” They are all running for president for the first time. There have been mentions of Kwankwaso, Obi, Tinubu, and others. This is a route that Atiku has previously taken. He understands, and by God’s grace, he will triumph.”
