Atiku reacts to death of Governor El-Rufai’s brother
– The presidential candidate of Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, has extended the note of condolence to Governor Nasir El-Rufai

– Burying political differences, Atiku prayed Allah forgive the elder brother of the Kaduna governor
The presidential candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, has extended the note of condolence to Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna state over the death of his brother, AVM Aliyu Rufai.
Reacting to the death of Rufai, the former vice president, through a condolence tweet on his official and verified Twitter account, @Atiku, buried political difference to express sadness over the death late senior El-Rufai.
He prayed God forgive the deceased and grant him Al-janatu Firdaus.
It would be recalled that the retired Air Vice Marshal Rufai died in the early hours of Saturday, January 19, in Abuja.
The deceased, according to NAN report, was born on November 10, 1948, in Zaria, Kaduna state. He was commissioned into the Nigerian Air Force in 1972.
In his condolence note, the PDP presidential candidate wrote: “On behalf of my family, I express my deepest condolences to Governor Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai @elrufai and the entire Rufai family over the loss of his elder brother, AVM Aliyu Rufai. May Allah grant him Al-Jannah Firdaus. -AA.”
