Austin Eguavoen to be appointed manager of top African club Malien de Bamako

TRACKING__Former Super Eagles coach, Austin Eguavoen is set to be named the head coach of top African football club, Malien de Bamako of Mali.
The former Nigeria international defender is expected to arrive in Bamako, Mali today Tuesday, October 20, to formally take charge of Malien de Bamako, which entered prominence after winning the 2009 CAF Confederation Cup.
‘Former Nigeria coach, Augustine Eguavoen (55) is expected to arrive in Mali on Tuesday to take over the head coach role of the giants Stade Malien de Bamako,’ African Sports journalist based in Kumasi, Ghana Nuhu Adams revealed on Monday, October 19.
Eguavoen led the Super Eagles to a bronze medal at the 2006 African Cup of Nations in Egypt and has also coached Bendel Insurance, Sharks FC, Nigeria U17 and U23.
