Babajide Relishes Maiden Super Falcons Appearance
Rinsola Babajide is in buoyant mood after making her maiden appearance for the Super Falcons.
Babajide earned her maiden invitation to the Super Falcons for the 2024 Olympic Games qualifiers against the Crux of Ethiopia.
The Tenerife star replaced Uchenna Kanu in the 71st minute of the encounter.
The forward celebrated her debut on the social media.
“Proud moment for me & and my family making my 🇳🇬 debut ! 25.10.23. A date to cherish forever Psalm 118:1,” she wrote.
Babajide will be hoping to make her second appearance for the nine-time African champions when they take on the Crux in the reverse fixture at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja next week Tuesday.
The 25-year-old represented England at the youth level before switching allegiance to Nigeria.
She was a member of the England team that won bronze medal at the 2018 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.
