Bauchi Governor appoints new SSG

Bauchi State Governor, Sen Bala Mohammed, has appointed the Commissioner for Budget, Economic Planning, and Multilateral Coordination, Alhaji Aminu Hammayo, as the new Secretary to the State Government, SSG.
Hammayo, who previously served as SSG during the administration of former Governor Malam Isa Yuguda, succeeds Barr. Kashim Ibrahim, who recently resigned under controversial circumstances.
Similarly, the Governor has appointed Alhaji Hashimu Yakubu Kumbala, the Special Adviser on Special Duties, as the new Principal Private Secretary of PPS.
Kumbala replaces Pharmacist Samaila Adamu Burga, who was elected State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
A statement issued on Friday by the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the Governor, Mukhtar Gidado disclosed that both appointees are scheduled to be sworn in today.
