Bayelsa: Another Ogbia Councilor Construct Concrete Bridge In his Ward. (See Photos)

YENAGOA___The Councillor representing Ogbia Ward 12 has successfully completed his Ward Project.
According to Hon. Samuel Edum, he received funds for ward Project weeks back but was thinking on a particular project that will benefit all. In his words,
“I was thinking on a particular project I can undertake considering the sum and my intention to carryout a project that will be sustainable and beneficial to all after holding the consultation section.”
After the consultative meeting with critical stakeholders in his ward, all unanimously decided to carry out the conversion of the old wooden bridge to concrete bridge for the benefit of all.
In a brief interview with TrackNews Online Hon. Samuel Edum, according to him he decided to convert the Wooden Foot Bridge to a Standard Concrete Bridge to link Communities in his Ward and also to the abandoned Agric rice mill farm.
He said the major essence of the project is for the people of Ogbia Ward 12 to have easy access to the abandoned rice mill and farmlands they have been suffering for years using wooden bridge. He further said, this was one of his campaign promises to his people and he so happy that his campaign promise has materialise.
The councillor further appreciate the Governor of Bayelsa State Sen. Douye Diri and his Deputy Sen. Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo for releasing funds to local government councils to carry out ward development project.
He also thank the chairman of Ogbia local government Area Hon. Ebinyo Turner for his fatherly advice and encouragement.
He further commend, stakeholders, women and youths for their support.
