Bayelsa Collects N61.5bn 13% Derivation In 3 Months
YENAGOA – The Bayelsa State Government disclosed on Monday that it received a total sum of N61.5billion as 13 per cent derivation from the Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) for the months of November and December 2022, and January 2023.
The Technical Adviser on Revenue, Treasury and Account to the State Governor, Timipre Seipulou made this known at the income and expenditure briefing for the three months in Yenagoa, the state capital.
While giving a break down, he said the state collected N13.22bn in November, N19.89bn in December and N27.895bn accrued to it in January 2023.

Seipulou also announced a total net receipt of N93.179bn from the FAAC for the months of November and December 2022 as well as January 2023.
He said the state got a net sum of N16.727bn for November, N27.914bn for December and N48. 538bn in January 2023.
The Governor Douye Diri’s aide further stated that Bayelsa received a total sum of N481million as “donation from various persons and agencies” within the three months under review for relief as a result of the 2022 flood disaster.
He explained that the state got N395m in November, N1m in December and N85m in January 2023.
