Bayelsa Deputy Speaker Condoles Murray-Bruce Over Wife’s Death

TRACKING____The Deputy Speaker of Bayelsa State of House of Assembly Hon. Michael Ogbere, has commiserated with Chairman of Silverbird Group, Senator Ben Murray-Bruce, whose wife, Evelyn, passed on Friday.

Hon. Ogbere, in a statement expressed heartfelt condolences to Senator Ben Murray-Bruce and the entire family over the unfortunate incident and urged them to bear the loss with fortitude.

“It is indeed heart-breaking to lose a dear one, especially a wife of 41 years.

“Although death is the way of all mortals and debt we must all pay, I am nonetheless consoled by the fact that Mrs Bruce lived a worthy and exemplary life.

“She was known to have impacted so many lives while she lived.

” like you said in your tweet, cancer should not be a death sentence. Together we must all help to scale up awareness on the need for constant check for early detection and immediate and continues treatment.

“Please know that our thoughts are with you at this moment. My prayer is that God grant your wife internal rest and give you the children and all the people she left behind the strength to carry on after her.”
