Bayelsa Sports Commissioner Receives Organizers Of Pamo Tennis Junior Championships In Conjunction With Bayelsa Tennis Association

The commissioner for Sports Development Bayelsa State, Champion Hon. Daniel Igali (Oly) received Alfred Koripamo and the organizers of PAMO TENNIS Junior Championships (under 12-14) in his office earlier today.
The event is scheduled to hold from 18th – 20th October, 2024 at Ididie Hotel Ekeki, Yenagoa.
Alfred Koripamo stated that he is eager to give back to society. Hence, the tennis Championships which will come with scholarships for the winners.
Hon. Daniel Igali, unbehalf of the Ministry of Sports appreciated and encouraged the organizers for the wonderful idea and promised to give all necessary support to the championship.
The Bayelsa sports commissioner also emphasized that it is always pertinent to give back to the society after years of track records and great achievements as sports men.
Hon. Igali further stated that having Championships and competitions for the younger lads only means that the future of Bayelsa Sports is in the right track as it will give the younger generation the opportunity to take over from retiring sports men and women in the state.
