BAYELSA STATE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION NEW COMMISSIONER ASSUMES DUTY

TRACKING____The Permanent Secretary Ministry of Education, Comr. Walton Liverpool, Directors and Staff of the Ministry of Education on Thursday, 27th August, 2020 officially receive and welcome their brand new Commissioner for Education, Hon. Gentle Emelah, at the Education House, Yenagoa.

The Permanent Secretary, Comr. Walton Liverpool while introducing the new Commissioner for Education before the other top management and staff of the ministry, at the ministry’s conference hall, expresses the Appointment of Hon. Gentle Emelah, as a far-famed public servant who is not only strong and energetic, but eminently qualified to galvanise human resources for optimal performance as a ministry.

Speaking on behalf of the Directors of the Ministry, Mr. Lucky Afenfia, Head, Human Resources Management (HRM) of the ministry, expresses confidence on the new Commissioner, stating that, with his appearance, the ministry can now enjoy full fleshed administrative activities.

Responding to the audience, the Hon. Commissioner for Education, Hon. Gentle Emelah, informed positively and with certainty, to bring to bear his productiveness and professionalism to duties.

Hon. Gentle Emelah said he will love to work with everyone, and therefore he encourage team work, that he will receive and accept the opinion of everyone that no opinion is considered irrelevant and that all hands must be on desks for us to succeed. He also proposes to declare the State of Emergency on the Education Sector.

Furthermore, He implored Staffers of the Ministry to inculcate the sense of commitment, diligency, brotherliness and humility in the discharge of their duties.
