BAYELSA VOLUNTEERS MOBILISE TO STOP CULT WAR IN GBARAIN KINGDOM.

TRACKING____The Chairman of the Bayelsa State Volunteers, Mr. Lucky Asanakpo have mobilized in full force to tackle the orgy of violence and deadly cult clashes which led to the lose of life’s and others critically injured from gun shots in Gbarain kingdom in Bayelsa State.
Chairman of Bayelsa Volunteers, Mr. Lucky Asanakpo who visited some of the victims in an undisclosed hospital, and later to the King of Gbarain kingdom, HRM, King . Funpere Akah in his palace, informed the various representatives of youth and women groups of Governor Douye Diri’s effort to foster peace and harmony between warring youth groups.
He further said, working with the police and other security agencies, the Bayelsa Volunteers had risen to the challenge and would stamp out the persistent related cult war and violence in the various communities in the kingdom.
The Chairman who commended Governor Douye Diri for giving him the enablement to swift into action to manage the conflict , said the Governor has assured Bayelsans not to only fight crime and criminality, but will create an enabling environment for youths to be engaged positively through various skills acquisition centres across the State.
He further cautioned the various suspected warring cult groups to sheath their swords and embrace peaceful coexistence for the betterment of the kingdom, nothing that the Bayelsa Volunteers will carry out proper investigation to bring to book all the perpetrators of what he described as barbaric act of violence against humanity.
